We are very pleased with it and hope you will be too. As you will see the buoy is light weight but very durable and it is 100% environmentally safe. No dangerous chemicals or noxious fumes! And it’s made right here in Connecticut! We are now in full production and have inventory on hand to provide you with prompt order fulfillment. You will be given a firm shipping date the very day you place your order with us.For those of you who normally ship via UPS please note that we have worked with UPS to minimize your shipping costs and thus have reduced our box size. In most cases you will be paying the same or a lesser cost per buoy than you were a year ago. We have also established excellent relationships with several freight companies and can provide you with economical shipping whether you order 1 box, 20 boxes or 300 boxes. Here are a few things you should know about the buoy: Branding: This buoy has a special Branding Plate on the butt (flat) end that has been carefully reinforced to accept a branding iron without burning thru the outer shell. Painting: The outer shell has been organically treated and will accept paint directly but for maximum adherence we recommend that you avoid excessive handling of the buoy until you are ready to paint them. We recommend Rustoleum Plastic Primer followed by Rustoeum Painters Touch Multi-purpose paint.
